There are significant risks associated with this area.  The decision to treat this area should not be treated lightly.  It is important to be confident with the skill of your practitioner.  There are several blood vessels and nerves to be considered in the face which have a varied path.  Often when treating this area, an ultrasound assessment can be useful.

The result of treatment in this area can be subtle and the decision to treat should be considered in terms of the risk.  There are many alternatives to treatment  which should be considered against possibility of side effects.

The best approach to this is in the form of a consultation with time to consider all your options confidently before embarking on any treatment.

It is important to advise your practitioner, if you have any medical conditions or taking any supplements or medications that can thin your blood including fish oil, NSAID, or warfarin.
